[01.07.2008] OPI OPENS ITS NEW RESORT FOR HOLIDAY BOOKINGS

OPI released their new resort in Spain for their summer bookings and are delighted to report July & August bookings are excellent. Parques Casablanca is a new luxury Aparthotel that is fully managed and marketed by OPI Resorts, the resorts division of OPI. With 1 & 2 bedroom apartments wrapped around gardens and a large lagoon pool, Parques Casablanca also offers a fine restaurant, pool bar and fully equipped spa/gym. It is setting a new standard in holidays at privately owned apartments.

[02.06.2008] RECORD HOLIDAY BOOKINGS FOR THE OPI GROUP

OPI, the leading management and rental company have announced record bookings for their clients for this season. Lee Jones, Retail and Franchise director explained, “this season has been quite remarkable with most if not all of our villa properties now fully booked, this is a testament to our marketing activity upon behalf of our clients.” OPI have always had a strong belief in marketing their owners properties through proven concepts such as holiday web portals and local marketing through mediums like The Rental Paper, a joint owned specialist publication. Lee continued, “this exceptional period of booking does not mean we will relax in our aim of global marketing of our brand and what it stands for and soon we will announce some exciting new partnerships”.

[01.02.2008] DANNY CROWE JOINS OPI AS GROUP MARKETING DIRECTOR

OPI is a property management and marketing company. There are currently 14 retails branches around the coast, with at least 8 more coming within the next two years. By year end we'll have over 1000 privately owned villas and apartments that we manage and market. In addition OPI are now being appointed as resort managers for several aparthotels and private ownership resorts, ranging from 14 apartments through to 600 apartments on a golf course in Sierra Nevada. There is enormous potential to expand in Spain and replicate the model across Europe.

Danny Crowe said, "OPI is unique in that we manage, maintain and market every one of the properties that we have on our books. We have the highest standards of health & safety, security and maintenance and will not market a property that doesn't fulfill the criteria. We visit every property every 2 weeks as a minimum. The new resorts business is very exciting, and we are being approached by developers every week to become the management company for their developments."

Danny has been marketing brands in the UK travel industry for almost 20 years, starting at Thomas Cook as Head of Marketing in the late 80s and since as a marketing agency/consultant with Royal Caribbean, Center Parcs, Complete Cruise Solution, Thomson, First Choice, Advantage, Six Continents and many more. He also owns his own private holiday resort in Spain.

[01.12.2007] OPI BEGINS THEIR FIRST APARTHOTEL MANAGEMENT CONTRACT

"It was an obvious growth market to gain access to," explained Lee Jones C.E.O. Managing individual properties across a large geographical area has taken OPI Rentals time to excel and providing all the relevant services packaged into one area and delivered to an Aparthotel seemed an obvious step. Since creating the division there has been numerous meetings with developers across the coast wishing to engage in the OPI operation. Having recently won its second contract the OPI Resorts Division is now housed in new designated offices in Teulada. Operations Director Irene Roche will be focussing on new business development within the Aparthotel and Resort Management opportunities.

[01.12.2007] OPI OFFICES TO INSTALL FLAT SCREEN ADVERTISING SCREENS

OPI Rentals will now be able to offer their owners a new advertising medium to add to their already excellent media packages. A deal signed with DIS, Digital Information Systems will mean a roll out project beginning in January 2008. OPI Rentals the leading property management and letting company on the Spanish coast has now signed a partnership agreement with leading website creators Independent Owners. Lee Jones, C.E.O explained,” the web is extremely important to us and to our customers to market their property and to have a partnership with Independent Owners will offer a fantastic opportunity for extra marketing and revenue generation for both parties”. Independent Owners will start to develop the websites and hopefully will have more than 600 ready for the new 2008 booking season.

[10.09.2007] MOJACAR AND ALGORFA OPEN ITS DOORS

It was an exciting start to the month when two offices open their doors for business. Both Algorfa and Mojacar have already brought in new business in their first week of trading and yet again more owners will have their properties in secure hands. Lee Jones, C.E.O explained,”with opening in Mojacar it links both our Costa Calida coverage and our Costa del Sol operation, we now have true geographical coverage from The Costa del Sol up until Moraira in the Costa Blanca North”. OPI Rentals will also expand with further offices opening on a regular basis across the coast and into other marketplaces.

[01.09.2007] RECORD SUMMER BOOKINGS AT OPI

OPI Rentals - Property Management and Lettings - Spain´s largest management and rental company returned record bookings for their summer period. Commenting on this achievement Lee Jones C.E.O said, "a tremendous effort from every office took our occupancy in some areas to nearly 100%, this shows that our continued effort on finding the correct marketing channels are working": OPI Rentals will now concentrate on its already highly successful campaign on returning long term clients to its owners.

[07.05.2007] COSTA DEL SOL OPENS ITS DOORS

OPI Rentals have now opened its first Costa del Sol office and commenting on the new office, Lee Jones, C.E.O explained,” this is another huge step for the group and having now opened our first office we are now looking forward to our planned openings of at least 6 further Costa del Sol offices”. OPI Rentals are expanding not only into other parts of Spain but also by the end of the year will be operating in at least three countries. At the recent "A place in the sun" exhibition at London's Excel OPI Rentals were "lost for words", as C.E.O Lee Jones explained the amount of enquiries received for both Spanish franchise opportunities but also the amount of Developers from all around the world interested in partnering OPI Rentals on its global expansion. "It was utterly incredible" continued Lee, as he explained that for most of the three days were spent engaging in early discussions on how the OPI Brand and business model can be exported around the Globe. Managing Residential Lettings for the holiday market has been a key business function of OPI Rentals since its formation, however with mounting requests from commercial owners and developers OPI Rentals has decided to launch our Commercial Division that will operate from each branch office. A fantastic achievement was made recently when a charity golf day which was organised by territory directors Glynis and Tina raised over 4,000 euros for their chosen cancer charity the A.A.E.C. The OPI Rentals Team came in a very good second place so lets see if next year they can move up to the number one place. The evening consisted of a fabulous meal set in the wonderful Eduardo La Finca Restaurant with some great live music and finishing with an auction which had both OPI Directors running around the pool doing their best to raise the bids!
