PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AND LETTING ASSOCIATION OF SPAIN

OPI is the founder member of the Property Management and Letting Association of Spain. Its aim is to reassure holiday home owners that by appointing a PMLAS member to represent them they will receive in return the highest level of integrity and service in both management and lettings. Each PMLAS member is bound by a code of practice. Failure to do so can result in expulsion from the Association.

The main areas of the code of practice are as follows:

• The organisation members do not sell property
• The members trade from office based premises
• The members are fully legal and licensed to trade
• All trades people used are fully legal and licensed to trade
• The members are fully aware of and instigate Spanish Law
• All members have a Customer Care Charter
• All members must have an internet presence

All branches of OPI Rentals are members and the organisation is now ready to accept applications from other property management and letting companies in Spain wishing to join the association.
