The future of OPI Rentals is extremely strong with growth not only throughout Spain but also integrating our services into other European holiday destinations. Our operating margin was up for the 7th year running in 2008, which we think speaks for itself. It is a clear sign of a lastingly sound business base; proof that our growth, however strong, is under firm control and is not at the expense of profitability. Which is essential - if growth weren’t profitable it couldn’t be lasting, since we wouldn’t be able to fund it for long. That said, our business model is definitely designed for growth. We are not going to sacrifice growth, and with it our future, so as to give margin a temporary, artificial lift.

BLOCKMANAGEMENT, OUTSOURCING, RESORT MANAGEMENT

The group is expanding into new areas of business such as, Block Management, Outsourcing of Trades and the very exciting Resort Management that encompasses all of our services into an onsite management service located on large residential developments. OPI Offices will be located on-site within the various complexes. Developers have seen that to enable them to be differentiated from their competition they need to be seen to offering tangible value added benefits and this is where OPI Services deliver. OPI Rentals expect that this new division will be very popular within the industry and will further enhance its stance as the leading property management and lettings company in Spain.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

Our business model which we call the 3, 5, 100 which means within 3 years in 5 countries we will be operating 100 offices is the ultimate goal of the business. It is our future and with our partnerships in industry and our ever growing client base it will be achieved.

OPI Rentals has a very sound business model and we do not deviate from our core skills of being specialists in the management and rental marketing of privately owned villas, apartments and town houses, covering both individual plots and resorts. Our continued and sustainable growth over the last 5 years is based upon strong financial management and exceptional people.

Our mission is to be the largest recognised brand in this sector, with special emphasis on:

  • OPI Rentals becoming a leading travel company for privately owned property that we manage on behalf of their owners
  • Operating in 4 countries, with 50+ retail offices, managing over 5,000 individual properties and 8 resorts by 2011
  • Managing the largest database of privately owned and managed property that meets health & safety criteria
  • Building a complete travel service for independent property holiday makers, including all holiday extras such as flights and car hire

We will continue to expand in Spain through new franchise offices in key holiday home hot spots. This model will be replicated in other countries over the next 3 years.

The Resort Management business continues to grow, as property developers are beginning to recognise the importance of having professional management and rental marketing for their clients. We are working with developers in Spain and further a field.

OPI DELIVERS SERVICES TO THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY

The growth of our travel business in geared to high demand from consumers and the travel industry across Europe for high quality privately owned property. We are now distributing selected property through 32,000 travel agents across Europe and continue to see increasing numbers of visitors to our websites.

The future for OPI Rentals is very exciting with the growth being built upon the solid foundations already put in place.
